Preoperative radiotherapy for a brain tumor

Image

The Erebuni Radiotherapy Center and Nairi Medical Center jointly carried out a комплексный treatment approach: a 3 cm metastatic brain lesion, accompanied by severe headaches, was first treated with high-dose radiation and then surgically removed 24 hours later.

During radiation therapy for brain tumors, special immobilization masks are mandatorily used at the center to ensure the head remains completely still and to maintain the highest precision of treatment.
