State order
We inform you that the majority of citizens of the Republic of Armenia can receive radiation therapy under the state order on a co-payment basis (50 percent). Certain groups of citizens are eligible for full coverage for radiation therapy under the state order.
The following groups are eligible for full coverage under the state order:
- Beneficiaries with a need score of 28.01 or higher, included in the family benefits system.
- Participants of World War 2 and equivalent persons (military personnel who served in units, headquarters, and institutions within the army during the Civil and Great Patriotic Wars, as well as other combat operations for the defense of the former USSR; partisans and individuals involved in underground activities during these wars).
- Individuals aged 18 to 23 who have been left without parental care.
- Detainees, arrested persons, and individuals sentenced to imprisonment.
- Beneficiaries of social protection institutions and temporary shelters.
- Repressed persons.
- Participants in the liquidation of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
- Victims of exploitation (human trafficking victims).
- Injured persons.
Radiation therapy will be carried out using Halcyon linear accelerators from Varian, using IMRT and VMAT methods. The state order covers only radiation therapy and PET scanning (with co-payment).
Attention! Surgical treatment involving radiation is not included in the scope of the state order.
