Brachytherapy is the gold standard for treating gynecological cancers and is widely used for cervical, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar cancers.

The advantages of this method include:

• Maximum radiation doses with minimal impact on surrounding tissues.
• A shorter duration of radiation therapy.

Brachytherapy allows for increasing the radiation dose to a level that is lethal for cancer cells.
